Pets Alive tweeted some updates and photos of Gloria, the poor kitty with the broken leg who was left to sit at the NYC pound for weeks without care:
Gloria is doing very well! So well that we think she can go to her forever home this week.
She is eating well and starting to walk around on her own.

She’s a real sweetheart too. When I stopped petting her she stuck her head under my hand to remind me that I was supposed to be loving her.

She looks so much more relaxed now that she’s not in horrible pain 24/7! Her face has a whole different look – like a new cat. A big THANK YOU to Pets Alive for this.

Gloria has been in my prayers since she was rescued from that hell hole. Good news, indeed! Amazing what proper care can do – thanks to Pets Alive and all those who had a part in her recovery. And, Gloria, live a wonderful and long life with your new family. You deserve this fresh start (although they ALL do).
